Companies has created a new component in its vIDix™ security suite. SRV-id,
the new search and rescue management program, allows those in charge of search
and rescue operations to clearly identify their volunteer staff and maintain a
record of detailed volunteer information. SRV-id allows the volunteer to
scan his or her driver's license or business card to capture name, photo
(optional), date, and time of search. Members of the search party check in
when they return and reports can be generated to ensure that all volunteers have
returned safe and sound.
